(Total race distance approx. 200kms) Start order is mass start!Our race permit will be under AASA.NATIONAL PARK RULES APPLYUnder no circumstances are dogs, cats or firearms permitted at Swan Lake Discovery Bay Coastal Park. Owners will be asked to remove them or leave the park. No drones.SPECTATOR INFO:Spectators are welcome to view the race from the spectator area on the dunes. You will need a 4WD and let tyres down to 12-15psi before being allowed on to the sand. Spectator vehicles do not require a sand flag. Spectators may only drive directly to and from the spectator area at our given times.We recommend spectators arrive into the campground no later than 10am in order to grab a coffee, let their tyres down and head up to the spectator area.CAMPING & CATERING:Camping is available in the Portland Dune Buggy Club campground free of charge for competing teams and spectators. Limited catering will be available; coffee van Saturday and a BBQ lunch Saturday via the Portland Rotary Club. Facilities are limited however there are flushing toilets and further portaloos will be provided. There are bore water taps dotted around the campground. There will be one shower trailer. Use designated fire rings only, BYO firewood. Fully extinguish fires before departing.MERCHANDISE:Tshirts and hoodies will be available for pre-order and purchase on the day. This event became a staple on the Australian off-road racing calendar for decades. It wasn’t unusual to see up to a hundred buggies competing in a single event!MORE INFO COMING SOON!!
